American Advertising Awards
of Greater Flint
The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
In 2026, the AAF of Greater Flint hosted their 50th annual ADDY Award ceremony. The event needed sponsor signage and social media post material leading up to the event.

Solstice Social Club is a women founded wellness destination designed to bring calm, clarity, and connection into modern life. It invites you to slow down, turn inward, and build meaningful relationships with yourself and others.
Inspired by the solstice, a moment of pause before change, Solstice creates space for stillness through elevated amenities, restorative practices, and a diverse, welcoming community.
The Approach
Log Off & Live came in with a clear concept and strong vision for a social impact campaign focused on encouraging young adults to unplug and reconnect with outdoor experiences. With a strong sense of direction and purpose, they needed support turning that idea into a cohesive brand identity and website that could be launched quickly and effectively.
The goal was to take the pressure off DIY-ing the branding and site and instead create a solid foundation that communicates the mission clearly, builds emotional connection, and makes it easy for audiences to engage and sign up for updates.

This social impact campaign is an outdoorsy, friendly, and approachable initiative designed to encourage young adults to step away from screens and reconnect with the natural world.
It leans into nostalgia, reminding people of simpler, more present moments spent outdoors, exploring, playing, and fully engaged with their surroundings.
The Brief
for the 50th american advertising awards of greater flint i was asked to create media that could function as event signage as well as social media marketing posts. the focus was meant to be on the event's tagline, "an evening of excellence".
the print material was designed to look elegant without overwhelming the viewer.

The Approach
to tie in the aesthetic of elegance a gold and black color palette was requested by the client. i wanted to ensure that the gold was dimensional wihtout being overwhelming visually. A thin script font was picked to give off an ornate feeling to increase the elegance.
i wanted to tie in the AAF's brand gradient within the logo to really drive home to connection to the brand. i added the gradient to the 5 of the 50 to further utilize the negative space created by the 0 as a framing element for the other logo.
